Amazing Vacation

We visited St Maarten and stayed at El Zafiro. From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with smiles and did everything possible to make our vacation great. The rooms are clean, modern and right on the beach. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food and drinks are great (try the spice-a-rita - my favorite). Erica is awesome and so thoughtful - she even had our coffees and water waiting for us at breakfast after our morning beach walk. We can't wait to return to the island and will definitely stay at El Zafiro again.

Amazing Hotel

This place is simply amazing!!!! Felt very private yet family oriented as everyone were polite, friendly, and accommodating. The location was perfect as we rented a car and there is a security on duty at night! The ambiance of hearing the beach and waking up to it was Breathtaking and the area was very quiet yet in the mix of things. The Pic was the view from the room!

St Maarten Trip

Though the island is still beat up from hurricane Irma, The El Zafiro hotel was great. All the listing said it was.

We stayed for 11 days in The Ruby Suite. Truly amazing from the time they picked up us from the airport. The location was perfect. Walking distance to places. The suite was perfect for us.

Amazing location and hospitality

I can't say enough about this seemingly undiscovered gem! Nicole and Ed (owners) as well as their staff know the true meaning of hospitality and do every little thing they can to make your stay as amazing as you let them. Picked us up at the airport late night upon our arrival (even drove us to the neighborhood market that same night since we didn't have our rental car until the morning!).

The suite is exactly as pictured, very clean and new, bed and couch is very comfty! Coffee maker and small fridge in your room and they replenished coffee whenever we asked.

The property is on a dead end road next to the airport so it is pretty private, as well as the beach, wow! The beach is a a private little nook and never full of tourist. The only people on this part of the beach seem to be the patrons of their restaurant and guests, very hidden gem. Nice snorkeling as well.

They supplied us (very nice) snorkeling gear for our whole week at no cost, beach floaties and try to be as helpful in any way they can.

We had delicious breakfast (complimentary) every morning with awesome service.

If you are into plane spotting, this is the spot to be (besides Maho Beach of course!) Seems that lift off and landing happens right at this spot of the road behind the hotel. If you are not into the airplanes, the airport is not as bustling as you'd think, you can only hear the big planes right as they go by, it's a small island and you can hear them anywhere.

I can't say enough how genuine and friendly the owners and staff are, your front porch is literally on the beach and the room was amazing, thanks for everything and we will be back!

This place was amazing

This place was amazing, they picked me up from the airport I didn't have to wait because they were already there. The room was so clean and beautiful right next to the beach. And the owners were so nice and helpful, they made sure my stay was very comfortable I can't wait to come back
